HRI has state of the art micro-dissection equipment and fluorescent as well as light microscopes fully equipped. Micro-dissection equipment, cryotome for sectioning are located cross the street of HRI. Both light and fluorescence microscopes are located at the HRI and computers used connected to servers where images are stored. Fluorescent microscopes are equipped with multiple colour cubes giving the option of dual- or triple-immuno fluorescence stainings. Two confocal microscopes are locate din the basement and OPT scanner make it possible to make state-of-the-art 3D imaging.  Two BTX electroporators are also located in this facility. An animal operating facility is available. Personal micro-dissection and sectioning equipment (both for paraffin and frozen sections) is available.

We can not only work with embryonic stem cells, where we have numerous florescent cell lines used in FACS (cell sorting) analysis, but our local expertise now also allow us to do our own transgenic mouse models, where bastocysts injections are performed on site.
