Looking for a place to do your master thesis?
We are always looking for excellent students. Therefore if you are a dedicated student we are always open for unsolicited application. If you find any areas of interest on the Hagedorn website, then we are always happy to talk to you.

Being a student at HRI
Hagedorn will mentor the young scientists and expose the students to the art of publishing results in international journals. Students will also learn the process of grant applications, where our current support from agencies includes National Institutes of Health (NIH), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Danish Research Counsel and Novo Nordisk A/S. You will always have a dedicated mentor, which typically is a Post Doc and at the same time an internal supervisor at the University to ensure all students have all the mentoring and guidance needed to become a successful scientist.

Journal club
Students have monthly journal clubs, where they learn how to read and understand scientific papers. Each session is mentored by Post Docs, or a senior person.

Friday seminars
All students will present their ongoing research as an internal seminar, where they have an opportunity to tell everybody at Hagedorn about their project and have input from everybody how to improve the project.

Presentations at international meetings
If you have obtained important and good data during your thesis, then we will always encourage that the student will present their data at international meetings if possible.
